Walk Smart is a fun, interactive program that teaches students in grades K-3 or ages 5-9 how to be safe when walking near traffic. The program includes activities that give students a chance to practice important pedestrian safety skills (identifying dangerous vehicles, responding to traffic signals) in the safety of the computer environment. Research shows that once children learn these skills in the computer environment, they are more likely to understand how to behave in real traffic situations.
