Events Alter Mind of PTSD Veterans

Events in My Mind

by Mathew Brown

The power the past holds
Baffles the mind

A series of events
Shape a life forever

It is said
“Everything happens for a reason.”

We spend a life time searching
For that moment

A moment we can
truly understand

Chain of actions…
Molding
Changing
Transforming us to the beings we become

Actions we make
Affect more than just ourselves

We have an impact
Not just on those close
But also to perfect strangers

We affect everything around
Be mindful of each choice
For we never know how much
The outcome may change a life

PTSD affect your mind and your brain.

PTSD affects your mind and your brain.

    Matthew,

I am retired AF and I volunteer at a Veterans PTS weekend retreat each year in Washington State. I was wondering if it would be ok to share your poem with our attendees?
