Authors

Barbara Webster

As a facilitator of support groups for the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts since 1995, Barbara Webster has worked with survivors of brain injury for many years. Drawing on her personal experience after a car crash and undiagnosed “mild” brain injury, she experienced first hand the catastrophic changes in her life. Unable to work and barely functioning to get through the day despite a supportive but bewildered family, she was no longer a multitasking competent professional and individual. This workbook is a compilation of the strategies that she and the hundreds of survivors have used to confront and deal with the cognitive challenges of brain injury.
